Incredible, iconic 1940s Halo, beret hat. Hand stitched, Brazil nut brown felt is formed into this amazing shape, using cleverly cut panels. Trimmed with pea green and purple feathers to give that familiar 1940s three colour palette. The hat is unlined and complete with its original string cord, for secure fitting. The McCalls pattern from 1945 shows an example of the style of beret hat. Label: Maurice de Paris. Condition: presents beautifully, no stains, no rips.
