Description
Leather piece for polishing and sharpening. Used if one of your cutting tools needs to be sharpened quickly or after stone sharpening. Used together with BeaverCraft's polishing paste (included) and provides quick sharpening of the tool. Honing with leather is a technique that goes back very, very far in time. For major damage to the edge, however, you may need to resharpen the tool. After sharpening, the leather pieceis excellent for removing the raw edge for a perfect result.
Nothing puts that final edge on a knife better than a honing strop. Just use only one professional sharpening strop and keep all your woodcarving tools always extremely sharp. The leather knife sharpener is made of real leather, so no worry about the reliability of the woodworking strop. Our double-sided strop is a very versatile tool.
