These wooden coasters are made from Kentucky tobacco sticks that were reclaimed from a family barn. The wood was used in tobacco production 40-100 years ago. They are a mix of White Oak, Poplar and Sycamore. The pieces used have been planed flat on two sides, yet the edges still display their rustic character with light sawmill marks. The coasters are sold in sets of four and include three color choices: Natural (golden), Coastal (whitewashed) and Pipe Tobacco (black/gray). Each coaster has been lovingly created and topped with multiple coats of a satin based Zero VOC film finish to protect the wood and resist moisture.
