Delicate post earrings featuring our golden Doves of Peace - calman-òr in Scottish Gaelic - for Naomh Calum Cille - St Columba himself. In Latin as well as the Irish language, St Columba’s name means ‘dove’. Featuring tiny doves in flight, exactly as hand-carved by the Ritchies within their ‘PEACE TO THEE’ icon, as well as incorporated by the Ritchies into their original shop letterhead. These very special earrings speak to the unbroken line of Iona celtic art, in a precious, modern and wearable interpretation. Priced in 24ct gold-plated Sterling Silver. 9ct and 18ct gold doves are available to order. These pierced post and scroll-back earrings are 24ct gold-plated sterling silver, and are 6mm at their widest point. Each piece is Hallmarked Sterling Silver by the Edinburgh Assay Office in Scotland. Please note 2023 delivery is up to 10 weeks. Please order by October 9 for guaranteed pre-Christmas delivery.
