The join is seamless and the cord comes with a t-pin to tighten the cord to the needle tips - (This is a VERY important feature to note) You MUST use the t-pin (key) to tighten or you risk having the needle separate from the cord. IMPORTANT to NOTE: Mini [M] cables require tips ranging from 1.50 mm - 2.50 mm Small [S] cables require tips ranging from 2.75 mm - 5.00 mm Large [L] cables require tips ranging from 5.50 mm - 10.00 mm The 2, 5 & 6 cables are for use with the SHORTIE needle tips.
