The brush pictured is sold, however, I am taking commissions at this time. The typical lead-time for this brush is 7 to 10 days. If ordered you will receive a brush of the same size (approximate within 1 inch) and style, However, each brush is unique, so there may be aesthetic differences. The Marilia Brush is made with grey horse hairbrush and has a beautiful 16-inch bamboo handle and is 9 inches wide. The bristles are 2.75 inches in length, are full and have good density. The long handle and thick brush head will allow the artist to make wide expressive marks. The grey bristles have good stiffness and great flex. It will make very wide and varied marks. In the examples I used very little ink - you could load up this brush if desired with a ton of paint or ink. The bamboo handle is comfortable to hold and provides good counterbalance to the brush head. There is a lot of work that goes into making this wide a brush, the price reflects the complexity and time that it took to make. It has a leather hanging strap and the end of the brush is embellished with a natural stone.
