Braided bead thread has been recommended in many recent how-to articles on bead working. This is the fiber to use for all stringing which requires extra strength or multiple passes, but involves beads with small holes. This super strong, flexible, pre-waxed braided beading thread is made from gel-spun polyethylene, one of the strongest fiber cords per diameter ever created. Beadworkers and beadstringers will find that this product feels and works better than the finest bead thread, yet is as strong as jewelry wire. Most beads will not cut this product. It does not stretch and knots easily. The 4 & 6 pound threads can be used with a #12 English beading needle and the 8 pound can be used with a #10.

FIRELINE: This is a microfused, braided bead thread consisting of Dyneema, a gel-spun polyethylene which is known as the strongest fiber, per diameter, ever created. It has an unbelievably high tensile strength and has been recommended in numerous how-to articles on beadworking. DETAILS: Made in the USA, our Fireline is 6lb. test and comes in a smoke grey color. The cord measures .006” (.15mm) in diameter. The 50 yards are wound on a spool that is secured with a clear plastic clip.
